We wanted to introduce our kids (youngest 5, others 8 and 9) to rafting so we needed something appropriate for our youngest child. The trip was great. It was fun, not too scary or difficult, but exciting enough. Our kids enjoyed it (as did the parents) which was the objective! The guides were great and really tried to engage our kids. It's not inexpensive, but we had zero regrets and would do it again and go with All-Outdoors again on other trips, without reservation.
This trip was great for multi-generations. There was 3 boys, youngest was 6, on this trip with their grandparents, memories were made for sure.
This was our second year doing the Tom Sawyer float with All Outdoors. This is a wonderful trip to take if you have small children. You literally just float down the river, with a bunch of small rapids to keep the kids excited. Our guides (Wyatt, Becca, and Taylor) were all AMAZING!!!!! I’m hoping that once the kids are a bit older, we can progress to some of the harder runs - but for now, I’m so grateful to have this option while the kids are still small.
This was a wonderful trip! The Tom Sawyer float. A great break from being inside, spending time with family outdoors, & everyone was taking safety precautions with face coverings, sanitizer, etc. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone with kids...mild rapids that are sometimes a bit exciting but definitely nothing major. Our guide, Dane, was great.
This was our first time river rafting and our entire family had a great experience with the help of Kira and Jack, who were excellent guides. They were fun and good with our 5 and 10 year old kids.

We were a pretty group, 11 adults and 6 kids and had a really great time. AO Rafting was very well organized and did a great job of keeping us safe and entertained on the rapids. This was a first time rafting for all the kids with the oldest being 7 and the youngest being 4 and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We camped at Camp Lotus the previous night and I highly recommend camping there.
I had a blast with my sister white water rafting It's a great way to open the summer with.
Our group had so much fun! My 7 year old girl was had so much, too! The guide was very experienced! We would ask for our guide next time. The foods was delicious and healthy ! We definitely recommend this company
PROS: *Our particular guide, Michaela, was very friendly and helpful *We started right on time *The river was really nice - great scenery *Offering a cold drink at the end of the trip was a nice touch *Bathroom and change room facilities were nice CONS: *One guide, Wyatt, was rude and unfriendly *There was obvious tension between the guides which made the trip a little uncomfortable at times *The check in process seemed cumbersome. I think the paperwork could all be completed in advance online *I was led to believe that the trip would allow for lots of opportunities to get in the water and swim around, get in and out of the kayak at will and stop at a nice beach for lunch. None of that actually happened. There were very few opportunities to get in the water and when we were able to do so, we had to get out within a minute or so. We didn't stop at a beach for lunch - we stopped back at your offices which was a disappointment. There were only 2 people out of our group of 24 who were able to get in to the kayak *While the lunch spread itself was fine, I didn't realize we would have to wait 20 mins for the guides to set it all up. We all just sat there with nothing to do while the lunch was set up. If we had been at a beach, at least we could have enjoyed the beach *There were no plates, utensils or napkins provided at lunch. This seems really unsanitary and inconvenient for the guests *Guests were not required to wash hands prior to touching all the food with their bare, unwashed hands *No compost. This is surprising!
