A Fun Successful offsite
“I have coordinated large company events (60 people) with All-Outdoors for two years in a row. On both trips we had an excellent day on the river, our campsite was beautiful and the food was outstanding. The staff worked closely to determine our needs and were extremely accommodating. Their drivers and guides are all experienced and professional. I would recommend this company to any large or small group seeking a fun, successful offsite.”

Navigating rapids requires communication, coordination, and collective effort - introducing just enough challenge to move participants beyond their usual workplace roles. The result is genuine camaraderie built through shared accomplishment, not artificial exercises.
At the same time, the river canyon provides space to relax, reset, and step away from screens and meeting rooms. The day is structured and professionally guided, yet it never feels rigid. It’s active without being overwhelming, and everyone plays a meaningful role in the experience.
We offer flexible team offsite rafting trips designed to align with your group’s experience level, objectives, and schedule - from efficient half-day programs to multi-day executive and leadership retreats.
1-Day Team Offsite Rafting Trips
Most 1-day offsite trips begin late morning and conclude mid- to late afternoon. A typical 1-Day itinerary on the South Fork American River:
Half-Day Rafting Trips
Multi-Day Rafting Trips (2–3 Days)
For executive and leadership teams seeking more dedicated time together, we offer 2-Day and 3-Day retreats. Multi-day trips include:
When possible, we can adjust meeting and ending times to accommodate your group’s schedule.
While each team offsite rafting trip varies slightly, most follow a clear, well-organized format:
If your itinerary includes lunch, our guides prepare a riverside meal while participants swim, relax along the riverbank, and connect with colleagues.
At the conclusion of the trip:
This turnkey structure - from arrival through departure - makes our rafting programs especially popular with Bay Area team offsite planners and executive assistants.
Yes. Our rafting trips can typically accommodate participants with varying levels of physical ability and comfort in the water.
For teams with mixed experience levels or participants who may be a little nervous, we often recommend the South Fork American River. It offers exciting whitewater that is fun and engaging without being overwhelming.
Each participant should select a trip appropriate for their level of fitness. As river classification increases, participants should be in better physical condition.
Individuals who are exceptionally tall or whose height-to-weight ratio falls outside recommended ranges may not be appropriate for rafting due to the nature of the activity. If you are unsure how to evaluate your abilities or size, have special health considerations, or are pregnant, we invite you to call our office to discuss options.
All guests must wear a life jacket provided by All-Outdoors. Due to sizing limitations, individuals with a chest or torso size exceeding 52 inches (maximum life jacket size) cannot participate.
Boat capacity depends on the river. On the South Fork American, our boats can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests plus a guide.
On all other rivers, smaller boats are used to navigate tighter chutes and the more technical rapids. These boats generally accommodate 5 to 6 guests plus a guide.
Pricing for group whitewater rafting trips varies depending on group size and itinerary (number of days and river selection). Once you have an estimated group size and preferred river, we can provide a detailed price quote.
Group discounts range from 5% to 15%.
Private charter trips — available exclusively on the South Fork and Middle Fork American — are offered for groups of 24 or more and provide savings of 25% off the regular rate.
In addition to the rafting itself, these experiences include intentional facilitation, guided reflection, and hands-on exercises designed around your group’s goals - whether that’s leadership development, team dynamics, communication, or personal growth.
Depending on your group’s objectives, activities may include guided leadership scenarios, communication exercises, collaborative problem-solving challenges, mindfulness practices, whitewater swim progressions, or learning the fundamentals of guiding a raft.
Yes. Every facilitated experience is customized based on your group’s size, experience level, objectives, and desired level of challenge. Trips can range from approachable team-building experiences to more immersive leadership-focused expeditions.
