Skye is a second generation river guide who joined All-Outdoors in 2017. She is a skilled Class IV+ guide, a talented artist, and avid kayaker. She loves the power of connection that rivers offer and is always eager to create a sense of camaraderie with guests.

Garrett is a second generation All-Outdoors guide and a gold country native. He is one of our core Cherry Creek guides as well as a guide school, swift water rescue, and wilderness first aid instructor. He is always searching for more to learn and new challenging experiences.

Gator is a Class IV river guide, working for AO since 2019. He is a skilled kite-boarder and skier on his days off. While he can’t pick a favorite California river, he points to the sense of community within the company as his true favorite reason to raft until he can’t anymore.

There is no shortage of opportunities to play after your rafting trip on the Tuolumne or Merced rivers. As an alternative to visiting the nearby Yosemite National Park proper, check out our suggestions of hiking trails located just outside of the park.

Rowan has been guiding on California rivers since 2016. He thrives in the varied day-to-day lifestyle of a river guide. Rowan loves working with kids, both on the water and on the ski slopes. He recently co-founded a new business and is eager to keep growing.

Jack has been guiding with All-Outdoors since 2017. When the rafting season is over, he returns home to Utah and is routinely featured in ski films. Jack is always eager to find ways to use his environmental studies degree while out on the water.

Joe followed his interest in whitewater all the way from the east coast to California. He has become a valued member of All-Outdoors. He is a Class V guide, manager of Tuolumne river operations, and is one of AO’s go-to staff members.

Trey is the third generation of Armstrongs to guide and manage All-Outdoors. He is a skilled river guide and has worked just about every job AO has to offer! He never gets tired of seeing guests get excited about rafting.

Helen is an East Coast transplant who followed her love of rafting to California. She loves all kinds of water sports, good food, and her cats. She manages the South Fork of the American, as well as managing food prep and driving shuttles.
