Bring all the family members and join us on the easy section of the South Fork American,the Class III+ sections of South Fork American River or the Middle Fork American Riverand take advantage of one of the following family discounts:

• Raft on any trip departing on a Thursday or a Sunday and receive a 25% discount for each youth (17 years or younger) accompanied by one full paying adult.
• Raft any time on any river and receive a 10% discount for all youth.

South Fork American (Easy Section Only): Tom Sawyer Float Trips

Our best trip for families with young kids (usual minimum age is 5 years old). Easy Class I & II rafting on a beautiful river, and an added bonus of optional kayaking! 1-Day trip option.

South Fork American River

California's most popular whitewater river for families with children (usual minimum age is 8 years old). There are enough Class III+ rapids to keep the entire family happy! Express, 1-Day, and 2-Day trip options. 

Middle Fork American River

This river represents a more challenging option for families with older kids (usual minimum age is 12 years old). Set inside a scenic 2000 foot-deep wilderness canyon, this river contains some Class IV rapids. 1-Day, 2-Day, and 3-Day trip options.
