We know how you feel!<\/p>\n<p>The reservoirs are full of water, the warm summer weather is arriving, and hopefully, all of us will soon be able to start doing some of the things that make life worth living \u2014 in a responsible fashion, of course.<\/p>\n<p>With that said, here\u2019s what you should know before making a reservation:<\/p>\n<h3>When can we go rafting?<\/h3>\n<p>As you probably know by now, Governor Newsom is giving the okay to return to many activities and places in California. The next phase in the state\u2019s Resilience Roadmap will allow campgrounds and outdoor recreation businesses to begin operating. Once that happens, counties will need to sign off as well. At this time, it is likely we will be able to begin the 2020 rafting season within the next several weeks. We can\u2019t wait!<\/p>\n<p>For those who want to plan a trip, we are taking reservations for the 2020 rafting season from July through October.<\/p>\n<h3>Which river trips can we book this season?<\/h3>\n<p>We are taking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/book-now.htm\">reservations online and by phone<\/a> on the following rivers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/river\/south-fork-easy\/welcome.htm\">Tom Sawyer Float Trips<\/a> (Families with Young Kids \/ July &#8211; October)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/river\/south-fork-american\/welcome.htm\">South Fork American River<\/a> (Beginner &#8211; Intermediate \/ July &#8211; October)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/river\/middle-fork-american\/welcome.htm\">Middle Fork American River<\/a> (Intermediate \/ July &#8211; September)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/river\/tuolumne\/welcome.htm\">Tuolumne River<\/a> (Intermediate &#8211; Advanced \/ July &#8211; September 7)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/river\/cherry-creek\/welcome.htm\">Cherry Creek<\/a> (Advanced \/ July &#8211; September 7)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/river\/goodwin\/welcome.htm\">Goodwin Canyon<\/a> (Intermediate &#8211; Advanced \/ October 17 &#8211; 18, October 24 &#8211; 25)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What if our trip has to be canceled?<\/h3>\n<p>We realize that booking a rafting trip might be tricky due to these uncertain times. With this in mind we have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/reservations\/cancellation-policy.htm\">adjusted our Cancellation Policy<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><em>If your trip must be canceled for any reason, you will receive a 100% trip credit toward a future river trip \u2014 either later in the year or in any future rafting season. If you are unable to use it yourself, trip credit is always transferable.<\/em> No fuss. No risk.<\/p>\n<h3>How do we book our rafting trip?<\/h3>\n<p>You can reserve space on any one of our 2020 trips online. He guided and set up early operations on California rivers in the 70's and 80's before making marketing for AO and reservations his main responsibilities. One of his claims to fame is that he and his wife Marion had triplets, who grew up to enjoy rafting and outdoor activities as much as he does.
