href=\"http:\/\/arconservancy.org\/xoops\/modules\/smartsection\/item.php?itemid=96\">American River Conservancy<\/a>, aquired a key new swath of land for its <a href=\"http:\/\/arconservancy.org\/xoops\/modules\/smartsection\/item.php?itemid=96\">American River Trail project<\/a>&#8211;a series of public use\u00a0trails that follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aorafting.com\/river\/south-fork-american\/one-day-trips.htm\">South Fork of the American River <\/a>from Coloma down to the Salmon Falls bridge.\u00a0 The new 45 acre parcel allows the trail to go all the way to the top of Folsom Lake&#8211;the property owners decided it was more important to ensure lasting public access to the land than to keep it for their
