• The Kaweah River near Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is about a six-hour drive from San Diego.
• Go farther north to near Yosemite National Park and you'll find the Merced & Tuolumne Rivers.
• Near Sacramento, the South Fork American River is the most popular whitewater river in California with great rapids and beautiful scenery. Fun for everyone.
