Now that we have bid farewell to springtime runs we stand ready to take advantage of summer trips on rivers like the South and Middle Forks of the American, Tuolumne, the Upper Klamath and Cherry Creek. These rivers will have consistently fun flows all season long thanks to good water releases. As you know, we didn’t have a great snowpack in the Sierra this year so as we predicted, springtime rivers had short seasons. Rivers like the Kaweah, Merced, Stanislaus, and the North Fork of the American are no longer available for rafting trips. So, turn your attention to trips on river with reservoirs—they will run strong all summer! Multimedia ExtravaganzaWinning the Dotties awards just wasn’t enough for our web team this year. They soaked up the glory and then got back in the trenches with new plans to make our website even more evocative and interesting so that you can learn as much as possible before choosing what river trip to book. We have just launched brand-new slideshows on our river pages to help you get a sense of each river’s unique character.
