Wine Tasting on the South Fork
Hi there,
Mother Nature is hard to predict even when you've been in this business as long as we have. That's why it's always exciting when the dust of winter storms and spring weather patterns have settled and we know what we can expect for the upcoming season. Now that we're into May, we're confident in telling you that California's whitewater rivers will have good flows and consistent seasons in 2008!
Get your group out on the river this summer! We have awesome rates for groups and offer Private Charter Trips as well. Whether your group is looking for a great price or wants upgrades and extra special touches, we can create the perfect itinerary.
Good water on the South Fork American River and hot summer temperatures means we're going to have a great time on our Wine Tasting trip July 19th. After a fun day on the water we'll relax with a flight of Sierra Foothills wine and a delicious lunch at our River Center.
Please call us if you have any questions about this special event or any of our other river trips. We're here to help Monday-Friday from 9-5. (800) 24- RAFTS or (925) 932-8993.
Cheers!
Latest Flow Information
Going into April this year we weren't sure what the California snowpack would look like by this time — we knew that if it was a hot month a lot of the snow would melt and run off into river systems before we all got a chance to go rafting. What we were hoping was that we'd have a gentle April, preserving the snow until a little later in the season. Lucky for us-and you-that is exactly what happened! April's temps were low enough that there is plenty of snow left in the mountains to give us really fun water levels on a great range of rivers this spring and summer. Learn more about the rivers we run by checking out the river videos we launched this spring. For details on our latest flow predictions, visit our blog and read Gregg Armstrong's full report.

Wine Tasting on the South Fork
We had such a good time on our wine tasting trips last year that we've already got another one on the books. It's coming up July 19th. The day will begin with an exciting day on the river and end with a delightful lunch and flight of Boeger Winery's award-winning wines in the shade of our River Center's mighty oaks.
